Enrollment Restrictions by State:
Walden currently cannot enroll residents of the following states/districts into the BS in Early Childhood Studies Program: Kentucky, New York, Rhode Island.
Note on Teacher Licensure or Certification:
This program does not lead to teacher licensure or certification. Teachers are advised to contact their individual school districts as to whether this program may qualify for salary advancement.
This early childhood studies degree program requires two field experiences. Prior to participation in the field experiences, the student will be required to complete a criminal background check and fingerprinting and obtain specified immunizations, TB testing, and liability insurance. It is the student’s responsibility to determine if these requirements would impact their ability to participate in the required field experiences.
